They Showed a Woman This Fetal Model of an Unborn Baby and She Rejected Abortion
Planned Parenthood loves to cover abortion in vague terms like “choice,” “reproductive rights,” and “bodily autonomy”…
…because when people consider what abortion is and what is an unborn childthey reject abortion.
An angry-looking mother and daughter approached the 40 Days for Life vigil in Pittsburgh and saw a fetal model display set up by prayer warriors on the sidewalk.
“Our volunteer thought they were mad,” reports Nikki, the local leader. “When they walked over to the fetal display, our volunteer went over to make sure they weren’t planning to knock it over.”
As the vigil participant approached the two women, he saw that they were not frowning; the younger of the two cried.
“It turns out her mother was encouraging her to have an abortion, but she wasn’t feeling it,” Nikki said. “He is very conflicted. Maggie was able to reassure and encourage her…and the girl changed her mind and chose life!”
Vigil participants offered the mother resources to help her with her life decision, which she accepted.

“Prayers continue that he will remain firm in his decision,” added Nikki. “She was in an abusive relationship and was hoping that an abortion would help her break free.”
But only the truth can set us free. Thank God this mom learned the truth about what her unborn baby looks like through the 40 Days for Life team’s fetal model display!
Bronx, New York
The Bronx 40 Days for Life campaign welcomed new first-time vigil participants despite freezing temperatures.
Sol, the campaign leader, said he stayed warm by “praying with the fire of God.”
Those who endured the cold weather saw firsthand how a peaceful and prayerful presence stirred consciences when a woman who had joined a friend at an abortion facility refused to stay in the building.
“He became very uncomfortable and eventually went outside and waited for his friend to leave,” wrote Sol. “He could have stayed inside but decided to leave…and continued to stare at us while praying. It was a successful day of vigilance.”
Manchester, New Hampshire
In the Granite State, campaign volunteers heard a powerful testimony from Lori, who was told to abort her two sons due to a diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Although medical professionals warned Lori that her sons would not survive infancy, they are in their upper 20s and are leading active lives in their church and in their community.
“There is always hope, dignity, and value in all stages of human life, the easy parts AND THE HARD PARTS!” wrote Norm, the head of the campaign in Manchester.
