5 Spring-Inspired Baby Shower Themes

As the old English Proverb says, “April showers bring May flowers”…or in this case, March or April baby showers bring babies in May, June or July! If you’re hosting a baby shower this spring, we’ve got everything you need to have a bright and sunny baby shower! Whether you’re looking for a theme, invitations, or decorations, we’ve got you covered with 5 springtime shower themes to help usher in one of the most beautiful seasons – motherhood!

1. Baby in Bloom

One of our all-time favorite spring baby shower themes is “Baby In Bloom.” If you’re looking for maximum flexibility when it comes to colors and styles, this theme is a great option that can work for both boys and girls or even for a gender-neutral celebration!

As mentioned above, this theme leaves room for party planners to capitalize on the style and/or preferences of the guest of honor. Whether you’re planning a shower for a more boho mama-to-be (see the invitation above for inspiration) or want to go the more whimsical route (see the cookies below), this theme is sure to have you and your guests all the springtime vibes!

A fun way to personalize your event decor is to add a birthday flower of your child’s due date. For example, a vase of pink or white roses would make a beautiful centerpiece to honor the arrival of a June baby. See the chart below for more details!

We can’t close this theme without mentioning this lovely flower accent chair. This is the perfect perch for your guest of honor to use when opening a gift!

2. A Little Honey is On The Way

There’s nothing sweeter than a new baby, which is why “honey” makes such an adorable spring theme! “A Little Honey is On The Way” can work for any gender and gives plenty of leeway when it comes to color and style.

The best part about honey? You can put it in your decor and on the menu itself! Get them little honey bees and add them to your flowers and buffet–they’re sure to create some buzz! You can even deliver some honey ginger lemonade for your guests to enjoy.

One of our favorite baby shower elements is a unique and on-theme guest book, and children’s books that double as guest books are at the top of our list! This classic edition of Winne the Pooh by AA Milne is the perfect place for guests to leave little notes for the new baby!
