Add some festive paper fan in the background of your banner to really take it to the next level – The cactus garland is adorable too!
DIY Crepe paper garland – baby shower banner idea
To make this colorful addition to your party banner, make this easy and affordable crepe paper banner / garland.
- Just cut 2 pieces of crepe paper and place on top of each other. Cut each piece approx. 30″ – or however long you want to make it.
- You can make the ends fancy by cutting a triangle on each one.
- Twist the center of the paper – twist until you have a 2″ twisted area in the center.
- Make a loop and twist to secure. (see picture)
- Continue doing them until you get the desired amount.
- String on twine or yarn.
- Add your free alphabet printables to make this idea even cuter!

- Punch 1 hole at the top of each letter
- String onto the twine
- Make the tulle garland by cutting several pieces of tulle
- Attach each one to the string or twine
- Hang the tulle garland
- Use the printable letters of the alphabet to make a banner and hang the lettered banner above
