Co-Ed Couples Baby Shower Games
Couple baby shower games are easy to plan and take the awkwardness out of the event! If you haven’t had a chance to experience the new trend of “couples baby showers” they are pretty fun! So go ahead, pick some games and have fun!
Dirty Diaper Game – The first of our couple’s baby shower games requires a keen sense of smell.
- Using a Sharpie pen, number 6-8 disposable diapers.
- Melt or crush different types of candy (such as M&M’s, Snickers, Baby Ruth, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups) on each diaper.
- Give each guest a piece of paper numbered 1-8 (or however many diapers you use.)
- Pass the candy-smashed diapers around the room.
- Each guest must examine and smell the contents of the diaper to determine what candy it contains.
- Then they write down which candy bar they think is in each diaper.
- The guest with the most rights will win the prize. Get your camera ready for this game, you’ll get some priceless photos!
Big Balloon Belly Race – This is a great co-ed or couples baby shower game idea!
- Blow up a few balloons and have all the boys and girls in the room put one under their shirts.
- Then have a race to see who among them can tie their shoes the fastest! The winner will get a small prize.
Beer “Bottle” Game – This game is quite difficult. But it’s a great icebreaker. Men in the shower can feel a little out of place. This one should loosen them up a bit.
- Fill some baby bottles full of beer.
- Give each of the participants a bottle, and say ready, set, drink!
- The guest who finishes his bottle first is the winner. You can substitute juice for those who don’t like alcohol.
Wet Diaper – For this game you will need to split into groups of 3-4.
- Give each group a disposable newborn sized diaper, a large jug of water and a measuring cup.
- Have each group guess how much water they think the diaper can hold without any water leaking from it.
- Have them write down their prediction before starting.
- The closest team will win a great prize!
It Takes Two, Baby –
- Each couple sits side by side, shoulder to shoulder.
- Give each couple a baby doll and an outfit to dress her up in.
- Have the man use only his right hand and the woman use only her left hand to help each other dress the baby. This is a difficult, but very funny!

3. Pin Pacifier to Baby – This is a variation of the classic “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” game, but with a baby twist.
4. Baby Bottle Chugging Contest – This game is exactly what it sounds like. Guests drink baby bottles filled with juice or water as soon as possible.
5. Baby Food Taste Test – Blindfolded guests taste different types of baby food and try to guess the taste.
6. Baby Shower Trivia – Test the knowledge of the boys (and girls) attending the baby shower with trivia questions related to the baby.
7. Baby Photo Guessing Game – Guests bring a baby picture of themselves, and everyone has to guess who it is.
8. Baby Name Game – Guests write down their favorite baby names and parents choose their favorite.
9. Baby Pictionary – Divide the group into groups and let them take turns drawing words and phrases associated with the baby.
10. Diaper Derby Relay – In this game, guests are divided into teams and have to race to see who can diaper a baby doll the fastest.

- Individually boxed homemade cupcakes
- Set up a candy station by filling different glass vases with all different types of candy. For a nice look – fill one vase with all red, one with blue, etc. (choose colors that match the color scheme of the baby shower) and let guests grab candy and fill the cellophane bags
- Give chocolate Shaped Candy (baby themed, sports, tools, etc.) in a cute bag
- Buy a chocolate fountain and let guests dip fruits and cakes in it!
- Make or buy sugar cookies in cute shapes like baby bottles, tools, sports shapes, animals, etc.
- Dip the Oreos in white chocolate (or color the chocolate to match the baby shower) with colorful sprinkles. Let dry and put 3-5 in a bag – tie with a bow
- Dip pretzel rods in chocolate, let dry, bundle 3-4 and tie with a ribbon
- Candles for the ladies/Cigars for the boys – or bubble gum cigars for two
- Baby bottles filled with candy (like pastel jelly bellies) or nuts
- Kind of corny – but you can have a baby themed pinata for the guests. Boys love feeling like kids again!
