“‘I will multiply you man and beast; and they shall multiply and bear fruit; and I will live with you as before and treat you better than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” (Eze 36:11 NAS95)
“37 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask me to do for them: I will multiply their people like a flock. city of flocks of people. And they will know that I am the Lord.”‘” (Eze 36:37-38 NAS95)
Ezekiel prophesied of the land of Israel, that it would no longer be a burial ground for its former wicked owners, but a place where the righteous remnant would return and “be fruitful and multiply.” Ezekiel looked forward to the time when many children would be born in the country.
