Party Details:
‘When second-time Mom-to-be, Taylor Decker, found out she was going to be a Girl mom earlier this year – she immediately started thinking about what kind of shower she wanted to throw for her little girl . As a wedding planner and designer herself, she knew this was a unique opportunity to create the perfect “blooming brunch” to celebrate!
“Sometimes second babies can get the short end of the stick with just a ‘sprinkle’ sometimes and I felt it was really important to celebrate his arrival differently than how we celebrated my son who man”.
Taylor also felt it was a fun celebration because we are now in the endemic of Covid-19 and the day of her baby shower (born in May of 2020), the world is shutting down minute by minute and 3 days later . shelter-in-place order was issued.
The shower is inspired by nature and lush gardens, a little French Country, and a color palette of sage green, blush, lavender with pops of orange, purple, and gold accents. The theme is a wildflower-inspired garden party! Think: everything but teacups! With the added touches of “Bloom Where You’re Planted” and “In a field of roses, she will be our wildflower” – no element of feminine strength is missing.
The vendor team completed the garden party ambiance with all neutral rentals, patio tables and chairs, one-of-a-kind layered vintage plates and textured napkins, floral-pressed paper, and a vintage seating area for Mom to sit while -gift – complete with a gorgeous spread of finger sandwiches and delicious pastries and more. This gorgeous backdrop and balloon installation from Balloon Ladies is the perfect backdrop for group pictures. Mama also made sure that each guest went home with their own set of wildflower seeds on compostable and plantable paper for each guest to start their own wildflower-inspired garden.
