Meet Our Team! — Colorado Surrogacy
-Jennifer is an infertility survivor and that is why she feels so strongly that everyone should have the family they want. Surrogacy can be a “last chance” for many expectant parents and she knows that no one turns to it easily. The experiences Jenn’s parents shared with her and the pain they endured, strengthens her dedication to this field every day.
Jenn is Director for Bright Futures Families. His team members describe him as determined, respected, reliable and honest.

Education: Bachelor of Science
Family: He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife, teenager and 2 dogs.
Fun Fact: Her husband is in the military and in the past 25 years she has moved 18 times, living in 10 US States, Germany and England.
-Ellen began working in this field as an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) attorney and recognized a need for community-based assistance for pregnant women and intended parents. Ellen and Jennifer started Colorado Surrogacy to fill that need, focusing on local matching and support. The company has grown over the years while maintaining the same local feel in each area.
Ellen is a Co-Director for Bright Futures Families. Ellen’s team members describe her as resourceful, compassionate, thoughtful, and helpful.

Education: Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate
Family: He currently resides in Colorado with his wife and four children.
Fun Fact: Ellen has traveled to 30+ countries and has a black belt in Taekwondo.
-Amber is a two-time gestational carrier and says surrogacy was one of the best decisions she ever made. She believes that everyone deserves a family if they want one. Amber is passionate about helping make those dreams come true, both personally and professionally. She is an intake coordinator for Bright Futures Families. Amber’s team members describe her as kind, reliable, adaptable and honest.

Education: Esthetician and Lactation Educator
Family: She currently resides in Montana with her husband Jordan, her two children and another on the way!
Fun Fact: A two-time alternate with independent battles.
-Ashley has moved three times as a gestational carrier! Although the first transfer failed, she successfully carried twins on a trip in 2018 and a singleton surrogacy pregnancy in 2020. Ashley understands that there are wonderful people out there who would be wonderful parents but just can’t.
As a case manager for Bright Futures Families, Ashley works tirelessly to put more good into the world.

Interesting tidbit: She fell into the 3% where 1 embryo was transferred and split into twins!
-Amanda had the wonderful experience of being a gestational carrier in 2016 and experienced firsthand what a gift it is. Amanda works for Bright Futures Families to help others avoid the many pitfalls she experienced in an independent match. He is focused as a business and case manager on doing small things that are enjoyable for others in this process. Amanda’s team members describe her as efficient, determined, incredible, versatile and resourceful.

Family: She currently resides in Colorado with her husband, two adorable boys and her dog, Dolly.
Fun Fact: Knows American Sign Language and likes to garden.
-Callie carried twins as a gestational surrogate in 2018 and did a second trip in 2020 and is starting a third trip today! Callie loves helping others and being a part of the excitement when people help other people. Callie is an intake coordinator for Bright Futures Families and loves getting to know all the generous people who are a part of this journey. Callie’s team members describe her as sweet, compassionate, fearless, and calm.

– Janelle completed a surrogacy journey in 2021, carrying a baby girl to complete a family of four. After seeing close friends and family members face infertility while she was growing up, Janelle decided early in life that she would become a surrogate. Although she wears many hats in her family and her community in Colorado, her favorite role is being a mother to three girls. She loves helping others on their parenting journey. As part of our marketing team, Janelle is dedicated to spreading awareness about surrogacy and the different ways to start a family. Her favorite part about working for Bright Futures Families is hearing inspirational stories and experiences from surrogates and intended parents. She wants the BFF team to be fun, professional, and know how to leverage each other’s strengths to provide the best quality services for intended parents and surrogates.
