Baby Shower

Perfect for Babies or Brides

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The weather is starting to get milder, even in sunny south Florida, and the vibes are warm and cozy and happy. When it comes to preparing a fall shower menu, think delicious, warm, and rich to match the fall tones and your shower will be as delicious as it is beautiful!

Fall flavors can easily be incorporated into a fun, lively brunch or a more elegant dinner – whichever style suits your guest of honor best! Check out these menus to create a cozy fall shower, perfect for celebrating some of life’s most exciting times!

Brunch Shower Menu

Call me stereotypical, but I just love brunch! I love starting the day with some of your best friends, and there’s something about it that’s so fun. The best part of a brunch shower is that so many foods can be prepared the day before and the table or oven will be ready, so you can enjoy time with your guests instead of staying in the kitchen!

Mainly: Pumpkin French Toast Bake by Just So Tasty

This is a recipe that, I promise, will have your guests begging for the recipe! This french toast bake will be thrown in the oven in 15-20 minutes and will fill your house with all the fattening, warm smells of pumpkin spice! It’s topped with cinnamon streusel for a little crunch and is delicious. A little tip: the recipe calls for stale bread, but if what you have is fresh, you can easily “dry out” your bread by placing slices on baking sheets in a 300° oven for 5- 10 minutes!

Edge: Fall Salad by Carlsbad Cravings

This salad is perfect fall in a bowl. It’s beautiful in its warm, vibrant colors, and it’s equally delicious to mix sweet, crisp apples, tangy gorgonzola, savory butternut squash and bright pomegranate sauce. All the ingredients can be prepared the day before, ready to toss in a beautiful wooden bowl! Add roasted turkey for extra protein to make this delicious salad even more satisfying.

Dessert: Apple Tart with Caramel Sauce by Mom in Time Out

This rustic apple tart is the perfect sweet ending to a fall brunch! Made with store-bought puff pastry and caramel sauce, this dessert is so easy to prepare, yet feels like it took days! Top with powdered sugar and it’s a great addition to a fall brunch table!

Drinks: Cranberry Orange Harvest Mimosa by Peacefully Chic

A mimosa is the perfect drink to complement a brunch menu! And this cranberry orange spin on the classic drink is perfect for a fall menu. I would love to have a DIY bar so guests can personalize their drink to their liking! Place glasses of champagne, prosecco over ice, orange and cranberry juice, along with orange and cranberry slices for garnish. I also like to have an option for non-drinkers, and a sparkling apple cider would be the perfect fall substitute!

Lunch or Dinner Shower Menu

When you host a dinner shower, you can really show off the taste of fall. Combining the flavors of fall and a celebratory dinner with your favorite people just creates the most elegant, almost magical feel for a shower. Embrace the cooler evenings by serving a warm, delicious, comforting menu that will create a cozy atmosphere for your guests.

Appetizers: Bacon wrapped Fig via Joyful Healthy Eats

They’re definitely a staple fall appetizer, but this recipe kicks things up a notch by filling sweet and salty bacon-wrapped figs with a simple herbed goat cheese. As an added bonus, they’re super cute on a table, but you can double the recipe because they’re usually gone once it’s set!

salads: Roasted Beet and Blue Cheese Salad by Recipe Girl

This salad combines the beautiful colors and flavors of fall with rich beets, sweet balsamic reduction and tangy blue cheese. Most grocery stores sell pre-cleaned beets which makes putting this salad together a breeze!

Bread: Parmesan Yeasted Rolls of What’s For Dinner

If you think you’re ready to make a yeasted roll over a shower throw, I say go for it! But, one of my hosting secrets is to use store bought when it’s just as good as homemade. And hands-down, Sister Schubert’s rolls are the best. Make a delicious herb, cheesy butter spread on top and they are delicious!

Main: Soup Bar – Roasted Tomato Basil Soup by How to Feed a Loon and White Chili Chicken via Lovely Little Kitchen

Nothing says fall more than a nice, flavorful bowl of soup, and these fit the bill perfectly! They can be made ahead of time and warmed up to make your hosting duties even easier! Avocado, Fritos, and shredded cheese make for the perfect topping for white chili chicken, and I serve the tomato soup with croutons or mini grilled cheese dippers!

Dessert: Apple Cider Donut Cake via How Sweet Eats

Soft and tangy and sweet apple cider donuts are the perfect fall treat. This recipe bakes it into a delicious cake perfect for a party. Garnish with seasonal flowers and serve with a salted caramel sauce that you can make weeks in advance!

Drinks: Sparkling Spiced Pumpkin Punch of The Suburban Soap Box

A large batch cocktail makes for super easy hosting! This recipe is perfect for a crowd, looks gorgeous in a punch bowl, and has all the delicious flavors of fall!
