Chicago, December 12, 2022 — In consequence of Dobbs against Jackson The Supreme Court’s decision was overturned Roe v. Wade, pro-life Americans are declaring, “All I want for Christmas is peace in the womb.” In the coming weeks, they will gather under banners proclaiming those words as they sing Christmas carols outside abortion facilities across the country, as part of the annual “Peace in the Womb” campaign by Pro- Life Action League Christmas Caroling.

“Since then Roe v. Wade has been reversed, Americans have been inundated with propaganda from abortion advocates,” said Eric Scheidler, the League’s executive director. “But behind euphemisms like ‘choice’ and ‘reproductive rights’ is the reality that every abortion is an act of violence done to an innocent human being. That is why we call for peace in the womb.”

Pro-life Christmas caroling is planned at more than 80 abortion facilities coast-to-coast. In the 20 years the League has held these caroling events, dozens of unborn babies have been saved from abortion. “During our first annual caroling, a woman came out to the American Women’s Medical Center in Chicago to tell us that hearing ‘Silent Night’ prompted her to cancel her abortion,” it reported. by Scheidler. “In recent years, we’ve seen that story play out in abortion facilities across the country.”

“It’s particularly sad to think of someone having an abortion at Christmas time,” Scheidler said. “After all, Christmas is the story of how all the sorrows of the world are conquered by the birth of a child – a child conceived in difficult circumstances. We bring this story of hope and joy to the facilities of America’s abortion, while offering assistance in any way we can.”
