“Pro-Life Doc” William Lile To Speak at Care Net National Conference
Every person is created in the image of God at the moment of conception. That is the belief of Dr. William Lile, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with a passion for educating the public on this fact.
“All patients have rights,” said Dr. Lile on his website, ProLifeDoc.org. “Pre-born babies are patients too. They deserve proper care and legal protection, just like the rest of us. It is very important that we work to uphold their right to life and dignity, because they are the most vulnerable patients of all.”
Pro-Life Doc Scheduled to Speak at Care Net National Conference
Dr. Lile will be the keynote speaker at 2023 Care Net National Conference, held August 29 through September 1 in Mobile, Alabama. The conference also features keynote speaker Roland Warren, CEO and President of Care Net, musical guest Natalie Grant, and more one hundred breakout session speakers.
Dr. Lile, who is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama, has served as an instructor in the University of Florida and Florida State Medical School OB/GYN residency programs. In 1999, she took over a practice that was the largest provider of abortion services in Pensacola, Florida. All abortion services and referrals at that location were immediately discontinued. Today, the practice of Dr. Lile “uses the clinic’s abortion equipment to demonstrate the brutality of abortions performed in all three trimesters, while the tools of modern obstetrics become instruments for her service of life,” according to ProLifeDoc.org.
Jill Marquis, Care Net’s Director of Abortion Recovery and Care, is looking forward to hearing the renowned doctor speak at the Care Net National Conference.
“Dr. Lile seamlessly demonstrates that there is no conflict between the divine and design,” he says. “Science continues to prove what we already know: we are created in the image of God and are priceless, regardless of the circumstances of our conception!”
On his website, Dr. Lile lists the various sources that defend life in the womb and the evidence he uses when he provides expert medical testimony to legislative bodies to protect babies “who cannot defend themselves.”
An example is a medical breakthrough that allows surgeons to operate on babies inside the womb.
“An infant’s umbilical cord can be transfused with donated blood as early as 18 weeks’ gestation to treat severe anemia in infants,” said Dr. Lily. “This means that pre-born babies are patients entitled to legal protection.”
In a blog post titled “Woman’s Life is Precious, Baby’s Life is Priceless,” wrote Dr. Lile said being pro-life isn’t just about saving the lives of babies, “it’s about affirming life itself as good, as something to be celebrated and valued.”
“Our existence has a purpose and meaning beyond self-serving and temporary comfort and pleasure. It is about choosing hope over fear, optimism over despair, strength over cowardice, and love for others over self-serving…”
In that article, he laments how many women buy into the rhetoric of the pro-choice movement and may not experience the joy and satisfaction of nurturing a new life and bringing it into the world.
“As an obstetrician, I have helped more than 4,000 women give birth, and I am never less amazed by the miracle of new life. It is always a joy to see the joyful light in a mother’s eyes when she sees her newborn baby, and I consider it a unique privilege and blessing in my life to have the opportunity to share in this moment.”
Dr. believes It is rare that the life and personality of the preborn can only be understood through love and empowered education.
“We know that the ultimate answer to ending the harmful practice of abortion is the Gospel,” he said. “The Gospel changes hearts. The Gospel changes the mind. It is the Gospel that changes behavior and provides true healing and forgiveness.”
