The story of Alexxis’ birth took many unexpected turns. From being high-risk in the first trimester to planning a drug-free, intervention-free birth at a local birthing center during her third trimester. Alexxis worked at home for 12 hours. When he arrived at the birthing center, he was already 8cm dilated. After another 12 hours of unmedicated active labor her husband took her to a nearby hospital where she received an epidural and gave birth to their baby girl a few hours later. Although it was difficult and she had to deviate from her original birth plan, Alexxis experienced a very satisfying labor and is now a proud new mother.

Alexxis is 25 years old and just welcomed her baby girl into the world on 4/4/23. He lives in Tampa Florida with his family of four. She is a full time housewife and helps her husband in their family owned Real Estate Development business. She is a talented pastry chef, loves to cook, and is an avid gym goer.
