Former NFL Star Philip Rivers Is Going to Be Dad of 10
Former NFL star Philip Rivers is a kid who is embarrassed by his own football team!
On July 14, the 41-year-old former Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback shared the exciting news that he and wife Tiffany are expecting their tenth baby together.
“We’ve had one almost every two years, and now it’s the longest gap,” he shared with AL.com. The couple’s new addition will arrive in the fall and will be another boy. “We are all terrified. Everyone is pulling for a boy. Even our girls wanted a boy,” Rivers shared.
Rivers whose mother comes from a family of nine children and her father also comes from a family of nine, believes that nine children will be the couple’s sweet spot. “We thought we would be the third generation of nine, but we decided to double-digit – or I should say we didn’t decide. God decided,” he said.
Rivers currently has seven girls and two boys ranging in age from 4 to 21. Gunner, Philip’s oldest son, will be the starting quarterback this season at St. Michael Catholic, Alabama high school Rivers is now coaching football since he retired.
