Pelvic Floor Therapist’s 32 Hour Homebirth Birth Story

Cailyn transitioned from care with a midwife at a birthing center within a hospital to a homebirth midwife at 30 weeks. Cailyn had a wonderfully challenging 32 hour labor and long pushing phase surrounded by her amazing husband, amazing midwife, doula and birth photographer. Later that day, her son needed a little more support so they moved to the local hospital and spent some time in the nursery there until they finally went home after 48 hours. They then had a difficult feeding journey after giving birth that consisted of months of triple feeding and donor milk.

Convenient Earth

Today’s episode is sponsored by Convenient Earth. I first learned about Cozy Earth when their sheets were named one of Oprah’s favorite things of 2018 and I’m giving birth in Fall 2018 and treating myself to the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on! I’ve been sleeping on Cozy Earth’s best-selling bamboo sheet set (and their pillow too) ever since. Cozy Earth sheets regulate temperature and are super soft perfect for all the life stages we talk about in The Birth Hour. Seriously, if you are a hot sleeper this is a game changer and worth the investment! They would also make a great baby registry item. Cozy Earth has come up with an exclusive offer for our listeners today. Up to 40% off extensive site when you use the code “BIRTHOUR”
