PPROM, 34 week Birth, and Breastfeeding a Preemie

After an uneventful 1st and 2nd trimester, things changed when Bella started to open her eyes at 26 weeks. After rounds of steroid shots, bed rest, and many nights in the hospital, her water broke at 34 weeks and labor progressed quickly. A two-week long NICU stay followed that included struggling to breastfeed a baby with an NG tube.
