Roxanne is an amazing surrogate who delivered twins for a family in June 2023.
Q: What led you to become a Surrogate?
I want to help a couple start their family.
Q. Who has been the most important person supporting your journey?
My husband, Sean, and sister, Jamie.
Q. What made you decide to choose your Intended Parents?
While choosing the intended parents, I felt that their story was touching and close to home.
Q. What were some of the highlights of your trip?
Some highlights of my trip were: the joy of seeing the babies on the ultrasound, and my daughter loving the babies as they move and feel them. The best highlight is when it’s time to have the babies and seeing the intended mother see her babies for the first time. That was an amazing moment for me.
Q. Do you have any advice for women interested in becoming a gestational surrogate?
If you are interested in becoming a gestational surrogate, do the research and do it. Make sure you have a great support system.
Q. How do you feel about your experience working with Family Source Consultants?
I enjoyed my experience at FSC. I’m looking forward to doing it again.
Q. What have you found to be the biggest misconception people have about surrogacy?
Some people don’t understand how surrogacy works, so having to explain how it works is a pleasure.
Q. What do you wish other people knew about surrogacy?
It’s an amazing thing to do. A great gift for a family.
Q. How has being a surrogate affected your life?
Many people say that this is a wonderful, selfless thing that I did for another couple. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
