I’m rarely seen outside of my Lululemon Aligns, but I’ve slowly started adding a few other items to my postpartum uniform. And Target’s new collaboration with renowned designer Diane Von Furstenberg makes that task easier. The collection features plenty of nursing-friendly dresses, tops and jumpsuits — and all for $50 or less — but this Ginkgo Cherry Tomato Midi Wrap Dress that immediately caught my attention.

People have already flocked to the reviews section to rave about the dress’s comfortable fit, high-end design and high-quality, sweater-like fabric. There’s even been buzz that the Target version has similar material and quality to DVF’s original $400 wrap dress. A postpartum mom also added details about its versatility and flattering fit.

“Love this wrap dress,” wrote one mom. “Perfect for that brunch date or lunch meeting. I’m 5’1 and felt it complimented my petite postpartum frame. Wish I could get more during limited availability. The color and pattern is very lively.”

Von Furstenberg is credited for introduced the world to the wrap dress in the 1970s, and there is another on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art today. Since then, the silhouette has become a staple, particularly for breastfeeding moms like me.

This dress is made in a wide range of sizes, too, from XXS to 4X. But it sells out quickly, and most sizes are gone. It’s unclear when there will be a restock, if ever, so it’s best to hop on the Target x DVF wagon as soon as possible.
