Mockingbird has a new high chair and it’s pretty special.
This high chair is a 2-in-1 deal that grows with a kiddo from baby to toddler. Plus, it’s packed with handy features that make feeding time a breeze (and cleanup time even easier!).
Here are the features of the Mockingbird High Chair that make it stand out:
✅ The tray has 3 depths to make it easier to reach their food (and less on their lap) and the footrest has 4 positions to help keep their feet stable.
Some babies can eat happily without a footplate. However, many babies find it easier to hold food when their feet are on a firm surface, which gives their stomach and back a break.
✅ Slide from the seat to the high chair (just push the tab and pull the seat up, and it pops out – zero tools required), and it’s a sturdy seat that your child can sit on for years to come.
✅ The Y-shape frame means it has a smaller footprint and can be stored under the table when not in use. So you don’t have to worry about taking your entire kitchen or tripping over it while you’re walking.
✅ Silicone-coated high chair strap (which you can only see in Mockingbird) that real wipes clean and even dishwasher-safe. This is a huge one for me because the straps on my beloved Ikea Antilop are always rough and gross and I love this wipeability.
✅ The tray liner of the high chair is also completely removable and dishwasher-safe, which is great because you can serve food directly on it without difficult cleaning.
✅ There are very few cracks and crevices in the seat and tray, so you don’t get sea monkeys growing in tight corners. No cloth will be dirty either.
✅ The seat strap holders keep the straps in place while you clean the seat or place your child in it.
✅ It is more affordable than similar high chairs. The Mockingbird is $225, while the Stokke Nomi (without tray) is $319, the Ergobaby Evolve is $399, the Stokke Steps Complete is $429, the Stokke Tripp Trapp with high chair and tray is $419.
There are cheaper high chairs out there (hello, Ikea Antilop), but the features aren’t the same, so it’s not really an apples-to-apples comparison.
