I think it’s safe to say we’re in the homestretch of this pregnancy! We are 36 weeks! I don’t know if I’m going to jump for joy or start panicking! I’ll get to more of that below with a little bumpdate! First, I wanted to show you a little sneak peek of some adorable nursery decorations we’re starting to include!
It’s not in my nature (at all) to do anything at the last minute. My vision was to complete this nursery two months ago! Right now I’m waiting for Baby P to arrive. Well, that’s 100% not the case. In fact, we’ve barely even started it!
Mouse + Magpie is very kind to offer 25% off your entire order with the code: WHIMSY until August 4 so be sure to check out all their collections!
Nursery Sneak Peek
I have a feeling this little reading nook will be my favorite place to hang out with Baby P! My goal is to create this cozy little space where we can sit together reading books about travel, fashion, and everything in between! I really want a little space where we can dream together and bring our books to life with our imaginations! When I was young, I always had this interest in traveling. I imagine what it would be like to visit and wonder the streets of other countries. Now that I’ve been able to travel a bit, I hope this is just another way for us to spark our Baby P’s little imagination! Be sure to visit Mouse + Magpie to see their other unique collections, all curated by international artists to create them one of a kind pieces to encourage the imagination in your children’s hearts! You can easily shop the entire collection that includes lamps, framed art, clocks, throw pillows, and sherpa blankets.
Don’t forget that Mouse + Magpie is very kind to offer 25% off your entire order with the code: WHIMSY until August 4th! For more nursery decoration ideas you can follow Mouse + Magpie on Instagram!
Hope you enjoyed our little nursery sneak peek! I can’t wait to show you the final revelation! Today, at the 36 week bumpdate!
36 Week Bumpdate
Wow oh wow! 36 weeks came and went in the blink of an eye. I can not believe! People always say to enjoy it because time flies. I 100% believe that! In the last 36 weeks, we’ve learned a lot, but we know this is just the beginning of the parenthood journey.
- 1. How do you feel?
I got this question recently. My answer was usually, “Pregnant. Super Pregnant and all that comes with it.” Nights became more difficult to get comfortable and sleep. Fortunately, I am able to have a flexible schedule during the day so I can take naps. In fact, last week I was taking pictures of a bunch of products for Anniversary Sale and after each little set, I had to sit down for about 10 minutes to rest! The struggle is real!
2. Weekly Doctor Appointment
Weekly doctor visits have begun! So far so good. Last week, I was a little anxious about all of this so my blood pressure went up a bit. The doctor wasn’t concerned because I explained how anxious I was, so hopefully this week it will read normal again.
3. What workout?
It’s official- I had to give up my Orange Theory workout. Everything that is changing now is too much for my body. I rested myself from all exercise last week, but I plan to get back to some very light weights this week and some walking. One piece of advice I would give anyone expecting is to be sure to listen to your body during pregnancy! This mood tell you what you need and when you’ve had too much! Don’t miss those hints.
- 4. Diet?
- Ehhhh… I’m getting a little lazy in this department. I felt really good most of the pregnancy, but these past few weeks I’ve been stressing about things a lot. I know it’s horrible, but I’m trying to manage it. Anyway, eating makes me stressed, so that’s what I do. My goal was to get back on track this week, but I induced a mac and cheese craving that was hard to beat! For the next few weeks, I’ve cleared my schedule and our focus is on relaxing and finishing nursery and hopefully taking some of this stress away!
