I would like to share my video with you How to Reduce Labor Pain Naturally. You will be amazed at how your body naturally gives you pain relief through birth hormone release..

That is, if you let your body!

Early interventions can interfere with the release of these natural hormones. It also reduces stress and anxiety.

I’m going to show you the process by which you CAN overcome Labor Pain Naturally.

Let’s start with the birth hormone Oxytocin. This is the love hormone.

Oxytocin is released when you:

1. Feeling loved
2. Orgasm
3. Give birth (ideally!).
It is a hormone that is produced naturally in the body and helps induce labor.

How to Reduce Labor Pain It is only natural that I cover only one topic in the PregActive Birth Preparation course.

Oxytocin
Oxytocin is important in childbirth because it induces uterine contractions. It also increases the production of prostaglandins that stimulate labor and increase contractions.

Oxytocin is also responsible for the contraction of breast tissue to aid in lactation after childbirth.

So yes, it’s important and you want to help promote its release.

Ways to help promote the release of oxytocin:
1. Nipple stimulation
2. Gender
3. Hug and feel good with your partner
4. Regular exercise
5. Relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and meditation

Listen to my PregActive Podcast ‘Natural Ways to Labour’:

Endorphins
Endorphins are ‘feel good’ hormones that your body releases when it feels pain or stress. Endorphins is also released during pleasurable activities (exercise, eating, sex, massage).

You may have higher endorphins towards the end of your pregnancy and these may continue to rise through childbirth.

Adrenaline
The ‘fight or flight’ response affects the hormone cocktail flowing through your body, and works against you when it comes to the optimal hormone cocktail for childbirth.

If you feel threatened or anxious during labor, adrenalin can be released which can slow down the whole process.

Keep Adrenalin low by:

1. Staying calm.
2. Being informed and prepared.
3. Feel safe and confident in your birth setting and health care providers.
4. Feel confident in YOU and your body’s ability to deliver your baby.
5. Be with people who provide comforting support and positive words.
6. This is a lot of information I know, but believe me when I say trust in the power of hormones. They can help you through this birth, and you’ve never experienced anything like it.
