Lovevery Recalls 47,000 Slide & Seek Ball Run Toys
Made popular for its age-appropriate toy subscription kits, sustainably made and built to last, Lovevery recently recalled approximately 47,000 Slide & Seek Ball Run toys included in its Babble Play Kit. Here’s what you need to know.
Why is Lovevery recalling its Slide & Seek Ball Run toys?
Lovevery has identified an issue with the wooden knob on its Slide & Seek Ball Run door. A wooden toy with a plastic ball ramp is included in the Babbler Play Kits for children 12-15 months old.
According to the recall issued in conjunction with Consumer Product Safety CommissionLovevery said it “recently updated the packaging for The Babbler Play Kit,” which includes the Slide & Seek Ball Run and, “as a result, the wooden knob on the Ball Run door may break during shipping. , which poses a choking hazard to children.”
Lovevery received 33 reports of wooden knobs coming off during shipping and six reports of wooden knobs coming off after shipment. No injuries were reported.
How do I know if my product is affected by the recall?
The recall affects certain units of Slide & Seek Ball Runs shipped between June and November 2023. Affected units have a wooden door knob, no engraved Lovevery logo on the bottom, and no green sticker on the inside wall door with wooden knob.
