Meet Tiffany, Prenatal & Postpartum Fitness Instructor — Wichita Doula

Meet Tiffany Harlan: Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness Specialist

  1. How did you get started as a prenatal and postpartum fitness instructor?

TH: While I was pregnant, I did a lot of research on how to exercise properly during pregnancy and postpartum. I noticed that there wasn’t a lot of information out there and it was an untapped market. I knew I wanted to do more as a personal trainer, so I decided to get certified as a prenatal and postnatal fitness specialist, so I could help moms to be moms and postpartum moms.

2. What is the difference between prenatal and postpartum classes, and regular classes?

TH: My prenatal and postpartum classes focus on teaching moms and moms-to-be how to exercise properly during pregnancy and postpartum. Classes focus on core strengthening of your pelvic floor and core.

3. What are some of the biggest benefits you’ve experienced working with new moms?

TH: I have experienced MANY benefits from working with moms. I’ve made some great friends since starting my classes and I really feel like I’ve created a great community for my moms. We go on play dates and have gatherings at least once a month. It really takes a village and I am so thankful for my village of moms!
