Planned Parenthood Makes More Money Killing Babies in Abortions as Prenatal Services Drop 29%

In case it wasn’t already clear, Planned Parenthood’s business (and profits) is about abortion.

The theme of Planned Parenthood’s latest annual report is “Relentless” and shows how relentless it has been for abortion. Abortions, taxpayer funding, and revenues remain at or above all-time highs, while other essential services such as cancer screening and prenatal care have fallen to or below all-time highs. of time minimum.

The abortion giant committed the second most abortions in one year – 374,155 innocent unborn babies were killed. Cancer diagnoses fell to the second lowest level on record. Other services remain at near or all-time lows. So what is Planned Parenthood’s true mission? Does it seek to provide health services to women, or is it primarily in the business of killing the unborn? And why are our tax payers funding this evil business?

Consider the gravity of these statistics in light of Dobbs decision last summer, which correctly held that there is no constitutional right to take the life of an unborn baby. Clearly, the radical Left is fired with its relentless desire to perform as many abortions as possible and take record taxpayer funding – with little regard for women’s health.

In fact, statistics show that Planned Parenthood makes hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue – which begs the question: Why do they need all that taxpayer funding in the first place? Although some states have begun to impose restrictions, the abortion industry is alive and well in America – plying its trade. Planned Parenthood’s numbers speak for themselves annual report. Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, the report touts the supposed health services provided by Planned Parenthood. Pictures of smiling women and caring doctors and nurses lined the pages of the report. But once you dive deeper into the real numbers, the stench of abortion is unmistakable, as is the disgusting profit that goes to Planned Parenthood.

First, let’s look at the report decrease in non-abortion services:

• Cancer diagnoses were among the second lowest totals on record. (Down nearly 74% from 2009.)
• Prenatal services were down 29% last year to a paltry total of 6,244 services. That’s nearly 60 babies killed for every individual prenatal service provided. With the accounting shenanigans Planned Parenthood uses the increase its numbers, we know it refers to individual services, not women or babies assisted. For every ultrasound, 60 babies are killed. For every second-trimester test, 60 more babies are killed.
• STI testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and abortion services were also denied.
• Pregnancy tests fell to the lowest level on record.
• Adoption referrals totaled a paltry 1,803, a 7% decrease. (Think about this: Planned Parenthood referred fewer than 2,000 adoptions while aborting 374,155 babies.)

These numbers should not surprise anyone. Over the past 20 years, Planned Parenthood’s focus on providing legitimate health services to women has decreased by 60%. And while we know Planned Parenthood uses all kinds of accounting gimmicks lie about “its services,” its own records even show that the portion of its “services” that are abortions has increased by over 33% over the past few years.

According to data from Planned Parenthood and the Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of the abortion industry, Planned Parenthood is responsible for at least 40% of 930,000 abortions in America every year.

The idea that Planned Parenthood is not in the abortion business like saying Major League Baseball is out of the baseball business because it sells more hot dogs than baseball players. However, that’s the kind of statistical hoops Planned Parenthood jumps through to say it’s not actually in the abortion business.

Also of note, Planned Parenthood gave out 543,046 abortion pills, an increase from the previous year – a number not recorded in its “abortion” totals. The Guttmacher Institute reports that more than 50% are drug abortions of abortions performed annually. Nor should it come as a surprise, considering the Biden Administration’s strong push to distribute abortion pills.

Count we told you, the Biden Administration has stepped up its efforts to provide easy access to abortion drugs. Women no longer need to see a doctor in person; instead, they can simply have the pills sent to their home after telehealth appointments. (Last year, Planned Parenthood was implemented over 500,000 telehealth appointments.) So, we sent legal letters to Attorney General Merrick Garland and HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra explaining why shipping abortion pills is illegal under federal law, and we file amicus briefs in federal court to defeat the dangerous abortion pill. The radical pro-abortion Left will stop at nothing to push the limits of the law, so we must stop them.

However, Planned Parenthood continues earn taxpayer funds and income. The abortion giant took in $670.4 million in taxpayer funding – the most taxpayer money it has ever received – last year. Shocking. Its total revenue increased by $192.3 million, equivalent to nearly $2 billion. Think about that. It’s a 2-billion dollar abortion behemoth. And on top of that, Planned Parenthood’s profits rose from $133.7 million to $204.7 million (a 53% increase!) last year – the second most profitable year for the abortion giant ever.

The media portrays Planned Parenthood as a generous non-profit who struggled to help women. However, the truth is that Planned Parenthood is profiting from the hundreds of thousands of babies it kills – and this sick business is booming. Again, why are our tax payers funding this evil corporation? Giving our taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood must end.

The pro-life movement achieved a major victory when the Supreme Court was overturned Roe v. Wade, but the war for life is going on in the states. Although Planned Parenthood wields enormous power in American politics, we must not lose heart in our fight to defund this abortion behemoth, protect unborn children, and support hurting mothers and Pregnancy Resource Centers throughout the country.

Planned Parenthood is “Unstoppable” – unrelenting in its sick desire to end the lives of as many babies as possible, leaving women and families in harm’s way. It is relentless in its lust for power and profit. It is relentless in stooping to new lows, including sponsoring fees on legalize infanticide. It is relentless as a bringer of death and evil.

But who will protect the unborn babies? We too must be relentless in defending life.

The ACLJ will will not stop fighting for the unborn, and we are actively engaged in many cases, with the Supreme Court, to defeat Planned Parenthood. All human life is important and appointed by Godand we must fight to save it.
