The Candy Bar game is one of my favorite baby shower game ideas! We have DIY versions and easy, printable versions for you to choose from!
If you want to go the DIY route, buy the following candy bars and tape them to a large piece of poster board. Hand out paper and pens to each guest.
Start reading each clue and have the guests write down which candy bar goes with each clue. The guest with the most correct will win a prize, or a candy bar! If more than one person wins, let them choose their favorite candy bar.

For this version, you don’t actually have to buy all the candy bars, but it makes it even more fun if you do! Pop them in a beautiful gift basket and give to the winner of the game as a prize! Or you can tape them to poster board so people can see what they look like.
Either way works – it’s just a smart idea to give all the candy bars to the winner! (one of our readers thought of that)

Dirty Diaper Baby Shower Candy Bar Game
This game is crazy but fun!
- Have 10 diapers numbered 1-10 with a Sharpie pen.
- Go to the store and buy 8 different types of chocolate candy bars. Hershey’s Chocolate Bar, Twix, Kit Kat, Snickers, Baby Ruth, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Milky Way and Take 5 Bars, Junior Mints, and Milk Duds are delicious.
- When you’re ready to play, open each candy bar and put it in the microwave for a few seconds to melt it a bit. Place each candy bar in a numbered wrapper.
- Be sure to remember which numbered diaper you put on the candy bars.
- Give each guest a piece of paper, a pen, and a hard surface to write on (like a magazine.) Have them number 1-8 on their paper.
- Pass the “dirty diaper” around the room and have the players silently guess which candy bar is in each diaper by writing it on their paper. They smell or taste the chocolate depending on their approach!
- The player with the most correct wins. Have some small prizes in case of a tie. Or you could create a tie breaker where they try to guess the mom-to-be’s favorite candy bar. Whoever gets it right wins a prize!
Here’s another (less messy) version of the dirty diaper game! Pin a diaper on each guest and when you are ready to play, have each guest look inside their diaper. The one with the ‘dirty one’ wins!
