UK abortion group is selling abortion-themed Christmas cards

It seems strange to celebrate abortion — the deliberate, targeted killing of a preborn child — during a holiday dedicated to the birth of a very special Child, but the abortion industry seems to have no problem doing so. Every year, Christmas is exploited to promote abortion, despite the seemingly contradictory idea.

This year, Doctors for Choice UK is sale a selection of abortion-themed Christmas cards. In one, a Santa hat is emblazoned with the words “Make choice great again,” while another riffs on a Christmas hymn — “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” — with the phrase “LARC the Herald Angels Sing, ” with two angels and Christmas ornaments decorated with forms of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), such as IUDs. Another celebrates chemical abortions, with a Christmas tree topped with pills and the words “Ho Ho Home use” on the cover. Inside the card, it says, “Peace, love, and pills in the post.”

As medical professionals, this group should know better than to promote at-home, DIY abortions; it had disastrous results in the United Kingdom. After DIY abortions were allowed, ambulance calls for complications from taking abortion pills increased, and complication rates skyrocketed. At least one woman died. The abortion pill was found to be four times more dangerous for women than a first-trimester surgical abortion.

Doctors for Choice UK President Wendy Savage also argued earlier this year that abortion is acceptable because “babies die every week,” and also said that sex-selective abortion. must be legal. “It’s her body and her fetus, so she should have that information,” he says. “If a woman does not want to have a fetus of one gender or another, she is forced [to go through with the pregnancy] will not be good for the future child, and it will not be good for [the mother’s] mental health.”

“These unpleasant Christmas cards trivialize a very serious matter by celebrating home access to abortion pills that end the lives of unborn babies,” said a spokesperson for Right to Life UK’s Catherine Robinson. in a statement. “Doctors for Choice UK is a group of medical professionals who should be committed to the best care of their patients, born and unborn, rather than detracting from practice. Christmas is a time when we should support the most vulnerable instead of raising funds to promote access to abortion pills, which end the lives of vulnerable unborn children.

The DOJ jailed a pro-life grandmother this Christmas for protesting the killing of preborn children. Please take 30 seconds to TELL CONGRESS: STOP DOJ FROM TARGETING PRO-LIFE AMERICANS.
