Top Baby Shower Punch Ideas

This is a simple, alcohol-free version of the traditional Mojito, perfect for a Summer Baby Shower.


  • 1/2 cup of caster sugar
  • 1.5 kg watermelon
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 2 cups of chilled soda water
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • sprig of mint
  • Ice

Step 1 – Place sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat to high. Boil. Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside to cool.

Step 2 – Blend the Watermelon until smooth.

Step 3 – Place a lime wedge in a large pitcher. Using the tip of a rolling pin, lightly crush the lime to release the juice. Add watermelon, soda water, lime juice and cooled sugar syrup.

Step 4 – Add the mint and ice cubes. Serve immediately (serves 8).

  • 1 l chilled soda water
  • 1l lemonade
  • 2 limes sliced
  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ice

Step 1 – Pour the soda water and lemonade together in a large pitcher.

Step 2 – Now add the lime juice, lime slices and mint.

Step 3 – Add ice and serve immediately (serves 8).

Step 2 – Now add the lemon slices.

Step 3 – Finally, add ice and serve immediately (serves 8).

  • 1 l chilled soda water
  • 1/2 cup elderberry cordial
  • 1 lime sliced
  • Redcurrants (or other red berries)

Step 1 – Combine soda water and elderberry cordial in a large pitcher.

Step 2 – Next, put the lime slice and ice.

Step 3 – Finally add some berries to each glass and serve immediately (serves 8).
