This pro-life governor just launched an all-in-one pregnancy resource website

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt was instrumental in creating a website which provides information about the many pregnancy resources available for women and families in the state.

In a video on the website’s homepage, Gov. Stitt and his wife, “We want Oklahoma to be the most pro-family state.” Specifically mentioned by Gov. Stitt the Helping Every Life and Parent (HELP) Task Force he created last year. The new site includes resources to help women before, during, and after pregnancy. The site also has a page dedicated to the various forms of financial assistance offered to women and families. It is often difficult for women to gather information on what is available in terms of financial assistance for low-income families, but now for Oklahoma families, all of those resources can be found at one Web page. There is also easy-to-navigate information on the adoption process for any mother interested in learning more about adoption.

Even before the reversal of Roe v. Wade, Signed by Gov. Stitt took a pro-life law into effect, making abortion a state felony. After Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization the decision was overturned Roe in June of 2022, a trigger law went into effect protecting almost all preborn children from abortion in the state, with very few exceptions. This new website recognizes that in protecting pre-born children from abortion, there must also be easily accessible support for new parents.
