Using Real MOM Models since 2006!

We think it was 2006, this is when we started taking pictures. There are discs involved. Maybe there will be a movie?! We always invite our customers to our photo shoots.

And, why did we do it? Because it’s easy to make our clients look good, so why not throw them in front of the camera?!

Here are just a few of the real moms (our customers) who have modeled over the years. one of them is a “real” model in “real” life, the others are great models.

To these rock star moms, no offense, but why would we use professionals?

Veena actually models for us with two kids, and I remember hearing her on NPR when Uber and Lyft were just starting out, so, one of her kids is..?!? (And this dress is not in the store in this color, but, classic never goes bad, and here it is.)

If you were in our San Francisco store before the pandemic, you may have met this model live and in person.

And, for those of you who are not as big as Dede(small) remember that we all have issues and challenges with our bodies. Dede wasn’t at our place of work when this photo was taken, but apparently the customers where she works are asking if her baby can be healthy given how thin she is. Because that’s what every pregnant woman wants to hear. Her “baby” is now 12?!.

model of a real motherJackie, another real life mom who is also a nurse-yes, through Covid- and now has a middle schooler and this baby with this babe is 10 or 11? crazy!!

Linda -another rock star MAMA model! To baby number one….

and baby number one and two!

Twins? We had a few. Sara got her bundles about a month after the shoot.

Crystal breastfeeds her babies, even though she doesn’t give birth to them, so are we using a non-pregnant mother? Yes we do!

Here are just a few of the many more amazing moms who posed:

Okay, time for the real confession: this last model? Isn’t it beautiful? She was my “nephew” who moved in with Quinn and I a year after she graduated from UCSB(proud auntie moment:) while she figured out her next stop. He joined a shoot just for fun. When one of the models is sick, we throw her in hair and make-up and boom!

And, the “real” model is the second to last picture, and, can we just say? “true”? IG wasn’t a thing in 2006, AI was, but not that we really knew about. Every single mom who walks through our doors is a role model!
